Under the hood

Security

In Surfshark's own formulation, a strict no logs policy applies: the company does not track or store user activity. The servers are all RAM only, so data is deleted at restart, according to Surfshark. The Kill Switch breaks internet access if the VPN connection drops, DNS requests go through private encrypted tunnels, and the company states built in protection against WebRTC leaks; the details are the provider's own.
